The
Musicians Benevolent Fund helps musicians of all ages and genres in a
variety
of ways. It helps professional musicians when a crisis such as an
accident or
illness hits during their working lives, and it helps with the
challenges that
disability or growing older can bring. The Fund recognises that the
life of a
professional musician begins early, and supports talented students to
enable
them to fully develop their creativity and musical potential. 2011 is the Musicians Benevolent Fund’s 90th birthday, and in celebration we are collaborating with musicians and music lovers to hold 90 events throughout the year. The events will take the form of anything from a gig or concert, to a cake sale, to running a marathon. Hold your even next year in honour of the Musicians Benevolent Fund’s 90 years : 90 big ideas and make a difference to musicians’ lives. Please get in contact if you have an event planned, and we will help in anyway way we can. Find out more about the Musicians Benevolent Fund at www.helpmusicians.org.uk |
